Eric has represented hundreds of individuals and families with their estate planning, estate and trust administration, real estate and small business matters. He has worked with families with modest estates and extremely high net worth estates, and traditional and non-traditional families. Eric is selective in who he represents in Trust and Estate Litigation, but has handled many complex Trust and Estate Litigation cases, and has secured millions of dollars for his clients in such cases. He has presented at many Continuing Legal Education seminars on matters pertaining to Trusts, Estates and Probate Administration.
Education
Eric attended the University of Toledo, where he earned his undergraduate degree in paralegal studies, his master’s degree in business administration (MBA) as well as his law degree (JD).
Practice Area Focus
Eric’s real estate practice focuses on assisting clients with the preparation and review of deeds, leases, purchase agreements, for-sale-by-owner transactions, property disputes, partition actions and more. Eric also works with our clients to establish businesses, plan for their needs, and has represented many clients in selling or buying their businesses.
Professional Activities
Eric is admitted to practice in the state courts of Ohio and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Eric has presented many seminars to attorneys and other professionals in the areas of Estate Planning, Trusts and Probate Administration.
Outside of the Law Firm
Eric was raised in Strongsville, Ohio. Eric attended St. Edward High School where he was a member of its 2004 state champion hockey team. He currently lives in Lakewood, Ohio with his wife, and three children.
Eric enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, staying active outdoors and taking advantage of all that Northeast Ohio has to offer.
